Join our Master Gardeners in their award winning Xeriscape Garden at SUNY Ulster for an afternoon stroll on a late summerafternoon while they explain the principles of drought resistant garden design and planting techniques which create aspectacularly lush and colorful place even during the dog days of August. Featuring perennial herbs, flowers and shrubs, the Xeriscape Garden is an interactive teaching tool in the selection of heat tolerant, water-wise plants, integrated pest management, and alternative landscaping techniques.
