Welcome to Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Dear Friend of Cornell Cooperative Extension,

The recently announced Ulster County Tentative Budget for 2010 could have a severe impact on funding for CCEUC. We appreciate the serious economic challenges that our county faces and believe now more than ever, individuals, businesses and communities need Cooperative Extension’s research based knowledge and practical education to cope with the complex issues we face.  We need your help to tell the CCE Story to County Legislators and residents.

Click here for information on how you can tell your Cornell Cooperative Extension story to county decision makers.  It is critically important that our many volunteers, friends, and supporters share their concerns, and tell their stories, if level funding is to be restored.  Please check our website often for updates. Click here for more information you can include. Please feel free to contact me with your ideas, if you are interested in working with the media, or to discuss any aspects of the situation. We need to know what actions you take and to receive copies of any correspondence. You can reach me by phone at 845-340-3990 or by email at lmr5@cornell.edu .

You see first hand the positive impacts that Cornell Cooperative Extension has in our community every day.  We will do everything in our power, with your help, to continue this important work.  It is our intent that Cornell Cooperative Extension remain a viable and trusted community resource, helping to keep our economy competitive and vibrant and to enhance people’s lives through the power of knowledge.
