Volunteer Opportunities Available at the Fair

We need your help to make the Ulster County Fair a great experience for everyone! Please call Jenny at 845-340-3990 or email jlb64@cornell.edu to help in any of these ways (adults are encouraged to volunteer too).

Youth Building Ambassador: Answer fairgoers’ questions about 4-H and help with fun hands-on activities in the youth building.

Youth Building or Animal Judging Assistants: Help out during Static Exhibit/Animal Judging. Run errands, carry exhibits, assist judges, etc. See Fair Book for details.

4-H Snack Bar Worker: Sign up for a shift in the Snack Bar. Money raised goes to support 4-H Programs. See Fair Book for details.

4-H Teen Council Milkshake Booth Worker: Adults and Teens are welcome to join in the fun. Sign up as a club/group or individual to work a shift. Contact Jenny at 340-3990 or email jlb64@cornell.edu for more information.

Public Presentations: Sign up to do your presentation at County Fair! Open to 4-H members with one or more years of public presentation experience. Please fill out an Entry Form, and mail it in by July 15, be sure to include the title of your presentation. This presentation will not be judged. Please refer to the Fair Book for more details. Mannequin Modeling: Strike a pose! Volunteer to mannequin model after the Clothing Revue at County Fair. Call Arthur at 340-3990 for more details.
