Countdown to Fair Checklist

What to do before the Fair:

__ Read the Fair Book.
__ Plan a Club Booth with your club.
__ Check out the specific requirements for your projects.
__ Make sure your animals have received their Rabies Vaccine - see the Fair Book for your animal requirements - only Dairy, Beef, Sheep, Dog, Cats and Horses need proof.
__ Fill out and send in your 4-H Fair Entry Form(s) - before July 15.
__ Plan to attend Fair Set-Up Day on Sunday, July 31.
__ Put the finishing touches on your projects.
__ Bring your Static Exhibits to be judged on Monday, August 1, 2:30pm -6:30pm.
__ Bring your animal exhibits to the Fair Grounds on Monday, August 1, 2:00 pm-8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 2, 9:00 am- 2:00 pm (applies only to Beef, Dairy, Sheep, Goat and Swine)
__ Get your cameras ready! 

What to do while at the Fair

__ Setup your animal exhibits with cage tags.
__ Make sure animals are comfortable and clean.
__ Sign up for your 4-H All Star duty in the 4-H Fair Office on Set-Up Day or during Static Exhibit Judging.
__ Follow 4-H Dress Code including your 4-H Chevrons at all times while on the Fair Grounds.  We are proud of you!
__ Stop at the 4-H Fair Office (in the Youth Building) to pick up your FREE Exhibitor Passes/Wristbands and Discount Ride pass. Smile at the person at the desk!
__ Go for a ride on the Himalaya!
__ Ask your Leader and/or Barn Manager how you can help out.
__ Look at the Fair Schedule (in the 4-H Fair Book and at the 4-H Fair Office) every day while you are at the Fair.
__ Have tons of fun!
